Invisible Fence Batteries
Would you like to be able to prevent your dog from being able to escape but don’t want to actually completely enclose your garden. Well the installation of an invisible fence should be considered. But along with the fence you need to purchase a special collar that your dog will wear and which contains invisible fence batteries which ensures that should they get too close to the fence they receive a small shock.
Unfortunately when it comes to the batteries in the collar these do need to be replaced occasionally. If they aren’t then of course the collar won’t function in the correct manner and the risks of your dog escaping from the area of the garden provided for them is much greater.
However replacement of the invisible fence batteries in your dogs collar are very simple. Below we take you through the process of having to replace the batteries in the collar.
Invisible Fence Batteries
Step 1 – You first need to actually examine the box, which contains the batteries to see whether replacement needs to happen. In the center of the box you will see an LED light and this is what will immediately tell you whether the batteries inside need to be replaced. If the light has turned to yellow or red then of course the batteries need to be replaced.
Step 2 – Next you need to remove the collar so that you can actually take the batteries out and replace them with new ones. The collar is similar to the conventional type your dog would wear and is fastened using a buckle to ensure that they aren’t able to remove it.
Step 3 – Once the collar has been removed you are now ready to replace the invisible fence batteries. To do this turn the collar over so that you can see the top of the box and there you will notice a small slot this is attached to a screw, which helps to keep the lid of the box in place.
In order to undo the screw simply insert a coin or other slim implement into the slot and turn it counter clockwise until the whole cap on the compartment for the batteries then pops up. In order to remove and replace the batteries you now need to lift the top of the box off. Once this has been done you are now ready to replace the batteries.
Step 4 – After removing the old batteries you now simply need to slot the new ones in to the positions available. Remember to make sure that the top of the batteries are in alignment with the grooves on the inside of the compartment before you then push them down into it and then gently turn them clockwise.
Step 5 – Once the new invisible fence batteries have been inserted you is ready to replace the lid of the box and tighten up the screw to ensure that the lid remains in position.
